Nothing is Yours

Once there was a rich man named "Richie". He was so rich that he had a big walled house. In that house there were big gardens in which all types of fruit laden trees were there. It was having it's own golf course inside the walled house premises. There was an area in which 12 number of cars were parked. Among these cars, 3 cars were of vintage era. Remaining 9 were of modern era, used by two of his young sons & by his one teen daughter. His wife too was a simple homely lady caring for all the family members. Sons were fond of horses too, so they had a stud farm nearby their car parking within the walled house only.

This walled covering of the house was having 4 entrance gates - each in one direction, east, west, north & south. All the gates were manned by 3 security guards, 3 each on one gate. In this vast area they had a palatial palace like living area in which there were 18 big rooms in which whole family used to live happily. There were servant quarters in which 21servants used to live, in which were cooks, drivers & others who used to look after this family.

"Richie" was very happy with his family as all his children were very loving & used to care about him very much. So was his wife, simple, caring & devoted to her family. "Richie" was enjoying the bliss of life, rather happy family life.

One day "Richie" was roaming alone in one of his garden & there was nobody other than him over there. Yes, there were birds chirping in the garden & it was giving a pleasant sound to his ears. He was enjoying the casual stroll in the garden, just by himself. Just while when he was staring at a beautiful small bird on the branch of a palm tree, he was stunned to see a dark bluish-black person of heavy built in front of him. He was wearing strange type of clothing & was fully laden with gold ornaments. He had a golden heavy crown too on his forehead. "Richie" was really filled with fear seeing that person in his garden. He was wondering how come this dark bluish-black person came inside his house when there were so many guards keeping vigil of the whole area at the entrance gates. At last "Richie" came to his natural self & asked that person.

"Richie" : Who are you?

The stranger replied, I am "Kaal".

"Richie" : Who "Kaal"? This is a strange name, I have never heard of this name.

"Kaal" : Meaning of my name is "Time". Kaal & Time are one & the same thing. People call me Time also.

"Richie" : "Kaal", "Time"................ I am not able to understand anything. How come you are able to enter my house? Who allowed you to enter inside my house?

"Kaal" : Your house!!!!!!!........."Kaal" laughs..........who said it's your house!!!!!!!!!!

"Richie" : Yes, of course, this is my house. This whole vast property is registered in my name, you can check with local city office too............all this property is mine, I am the owner of whole of this property.

"Kaal" : Ha, ha ha.................it is really amusing that you say that all this belongs to you. In fact, it does not belong to you.

"Richie" : What the hell are you talking?

"Kaal" : Yes, I am telling you the truth............this property & all these cars etc. are not yours.

"Richie" : This time you have really become mad that you are talking this nonsense to me.

(Richie calls his wife, sons & daughter.......all come nearby him & all are frightened to see this dark bluish-black person inside their premises)

"Richie" to "Kaal" : See, here are my sons, daughter & my wife. All are witness to that I am the owner of this vast property.

"Kaal......Again laughing..............Ha, ha ha.......these people are not your sons, daughter & your wife.........so how come they become witness to that you are the owner of this vast property.

"Richie" : This time you have really, really become mad.

**A great argument ensues between the two & Richie becomes too angry & calls his security guards. No one seems to be responding to his calls. Richie's voice gets louder & louder but no one among his guards seems to be responding. His face becomes too red with anger, he is shouting & screaming. During all this, he gets a severe pain in his heart & fells down on the ground. All his sons, daughter & wife rush to him but........it's unfortunate.........he is not breathing, his pulse has stopped & he is lying dead on the floor.

Richie's soul has left the body & is standing just near his body. "Kaal / Time" is still there in the garden. "Kaal" has all the powers to talk to the souls as He is the "Almighty Time", God himself.

"Kaal to Richie's soul" : Yes, "Richie", now tell me, who are you?

"Richie's soul" : How come have I come out of this body & why this body of mine is lying on the floor?

"Kaal" : You are dead & you have left this body, that's why you are seeing yourself as separate than this body.

"Richie's soul" : I am not able to touch my near & dear one's, not able to talk to them anymore.

"Kaal" : Yes, once dead, you can't do all this, as all these activities can be done with your physical body only & that is dead now. Now all these relations ceases for you. All this ownership of property was only while you were in that physical body, in which everyone used to recognize you. Living human beings cannot see the souls. For them you are dead & does not exist anymore. Now tell me, are you still owner of all this vast property.

"Richie's soul" : No, now when I do not belong to this physical form & physical world, how can all this be mine. When I can't communicate with anyone in this physical world, then how can I own anything of this world. Man falsely believes while living in his physical body that all this property etc. is his own.

"Kaal" : What about your sons, daughter & wife? Do you still feel the same about them?

"Richie's soul" : Yes, my love for them is same, but as I am not able to communicate with them, I am feeling different. I am also seeing that they have considered my body to be myself & as my body is lying dead on the floor, so they are feeling that I am really dead. Yes, all relatives are yours only once you are in the physical body. At the death of the physical body they too believe that their relative is dead & so dead is their relation with him.

Kaal" : Yes, you are absolutely right, Nothing of this World is Yours, neither property, nor relatives. All these seem to be yours, only once you are in this physical body. Once you (human soul) leave this physical body...................."Nothing is Yours".

***ABOUT KAAL: As per Bhagwat Gita, God declares in "Chapter Eleven verse 32" that He himself is Kaal (Time), the destroyer of the world. Purpose of Kaal (Time) is to destroy all people except his devotees. Below is Verse 32 of Chapter Eleven of "Bhagwat Gita" explaining "Kaal" :

"sri-bhagavan uvacha:
kalo ’asmi loka-ksaya-krt pravrddho
lokan samahartum iha pravrttah
rte ’pi tvam na bhavisyanti sarve
ye ’vasthitah pratyanikesu yodhah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Eleven verse 32)

"Sri Krishna said: I am the inflamed Kaal (Time), the great destroyer of the worlds. My purpose here is to destroy all these people. With the exception of you [the Pandavas - his devotees], all the soldiers here on both sides will be slain."

Who is Lord Ganesha?

Lord Ganesha is "Ganpati Bappa Morya". He is son of Lord Shiva & Goddess Durga. He is "Vighnharta", God who removes all obstacles in one's life, that's why he is worshipped before starting any new work so that said work progresses smoothly. But here is an interesting interpretation of "Who is Lord Ganesha?".

This interpretation appeared in the comment section of my Video Channel at You tube. Comment has been made by rajsingh37. Concerned video is "Jai Ganesh Jai Ganesh Jai Ganesh Deva"- Lord Ganesh Aarti & the comment is published here below once again.
"Lord Ganesh is my brother since Maa Durga is my mother."
Wow, I love this comment. Dear Raj Singh, great is your devotion to Goddess Durga & I salute you. Jai Durga, Jai Ambe, Jai Gauri.

God Expresses Himself in Human Forms

Why do you love your near & dear ones? Why it is that we love human beings in general? These are the same human bodies which if once dead are not loved the same way, when these are alive. What is there in these bodies which make these so lovable when these are breathing through the nostrils? Once it stops breathing, the same body is not that lovable.

The only answer to this is that there is someone besides this body, in the body, which makes it so lovable, otherwise how it is that this body of five nature elements seems so attractive & lovable. Yes, there is some other thing in this body which makes it so lovable & that thing is divine soul. This divine soul is nothing but a spark of universal omnipresent soul, the Almighty God. All human beings are lovable due to the presence of this divine soul in the body. All attractions in the body are due to this divine soul only. Once this divine soul leaves this body, it is called death of that body & all attractions, all love departs with the soul.

God himself says in the Bhagwat Gita that He Himself resides in the heart of all human beings. Below verse explains that:

"ishvarah sarva-bhutanam
hrd-dese ’rjuna tishthati
bhramayan sarva-bhutani
yantrarudhani mayaya" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Eighteen verse 61)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, The Lord / Supreme God dwells in the heart of all beings, who are mounted on the automation of this body, causing them by His illusive power of material energy to revolve (according to their actions) and is directing the wanderings of all living entities."

"tam eva saranam gaccha
sarva-bhavena bharata
tat-prasadat param shantim
sthanam prapsyasi sasvatam" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Eighteen verse 62)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, surrender unto God fully. By His grace you will attain transcendental peace and the supreme and eternal abode."

Joy of giving

As per one news report.....................Monkeys too experience joy of giving.

As per another blog post of Amitabh Bachchan:

‘When you focus on giving you will never be at a loss !

When you focus on gaining you will be under stress “!

So it makes clear that there is Joy in giving only than gaining in life. All religious scriptures of all religions including "Bhagwat Gita" too say the same thing. So let's help others by giving something that we have to poor & destitute. It shall give you joy in life. Always hankering after gaining in life shall give you tensions only in life.

Motivation & Bhagwat Gita - Management Perspective

In our day to day life, whether you are working for an organization or are doing your own business or are responsible for your household work, the most common thing many times is that you get depressed while doing your work. Depressed employees in any organization is a common sight. Dejected employees, depressed employees, unmotivated employees, desolate employees, morose looking employees are very harmful to any organization as they not only decrease the productivity but they also create an atmosphere in which other colleagues may also feel de-motivated & dejected. Similarly if you run your own business & remain depressed while doing your work, certainly you shall not achieve that much in your business if you would have been highly motivated & energetic.

Now, De-motivation, Depression, Dejection, Desolation all these D-words relates to your mind or relate to your mental position. It's only your MIND that gets depressed, dejected. You may be physically fit with blood oozing in your nerves, but if you are not well with your MIND then you are certainly not going to perform to your full potential. Mental health is where the key to success lies. If you are mentally supercharged then you can achieve any milestone in spite of having any physical inadequacy.

Now, how to get out of this Depression, De-motivation & how to increase the productivity at work is where the great teachings of "Bhagwat Gita" come into play. Now for those who do not know about "Bhagwat Gita".

"Bhagwat Gita" is an ancient religious book of the "Hindus" & in this book are great philosophies of Hinduism. These philosophies teach you all about, how you should do your duty, how you should lead your life etc. This "Bhagwat Gita" teachings were given by "Lord Sri Krishna", God Himself, to his disciple "Arjuna" on the battle field of Kurukshetra in Haryana state of India in ancient times. "Arjuna" was involved in a war against his enemies (some of them his own relatives too) but he refused to do his duty of fighting a righteous battle as he got infatuated & started thinking of his enemies as his own near & dear ones. He told his master "Lord Sri Krishna" that he is going away from the war & do not want to fight on the battle field. Arjuna's mental health became weak & he got deeply depressed. To overcome his disciple Arjuna's depression & to motivate him to fight a righteous war, "Lord Sri Krishna" gave the great teachings of "Bhagwat Gita" to his disciple "Arjuna". After listening to all these great teachings, Arjuna's mental health became well & he became motivated & energetic to fight the war.

Now many of us & many of our employees in our organization find themselves in the same state of mind, as that of "Arjuna". Their de-motivated, depressed state of mind can be changed to motivated & energetic one by these teachings of "Bhagwat Gita". Through these teachings, mental equilibrium of any depressed person can be overcome & he can come out of any crisis situation. The teachings of "Bhagwat Gita" can simply transform a person.

Now Bhagwat Gita teaches about "Mind Control". Mind is that makes the personality of a person. De-motivated mind makes a person depressed one & a motivated one makes a person cheerful. If one's mind is in one's control & he/she can concentrate deeply on one's work, then that person can do wonders at work. Mind is very powerful one & to control it, to keep it in one's control is very difficult. It just wanders like wind here & there & it takes enough of self discipline & practice of meditation to control it, to get it concentrated on any job or activity. As per "Arjuna" to "Lord Sri Krishna" in Chapter Six verse 34:

"chanchalam hi manah krishna
pramathi balavad drdham
tasyaham nigraham manye
vayor iva su-duskaram" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Six verse 34)

"Arjuna said: For the mind is restless, turbulent, obstinate and very strong, O Krishna, and to subdue it, to control it, I think, is more difficult than controlling the wind."

"sri-bhagavan uvacha
asamsayam maha-baho
mano durnigraham chalam
abhyasena tu kaunteya
vairagyena cha grhyate" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Six verse 35)

"Lord Sri Krishna said: O mighty-armed Arjuna, it is undoubtedly that mind is very difficult to curb & is restless, but it is possible by suitable practices of meditation and by detachment."

"asamyatatmana yogo
dusprapa iti me matih
vasyatmana tu yatata
sakyo ’vaptum upayatah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Six verse 36)

"Lord Sri Krishna said: For one whose mind is unbridled, uncontrolled, self-realization is a difficult work. But he whose mind is controlled and who strives by appropriate means is assured of success. That is My opinion."

So in the Bhagwat Gita, "Lord Sri Krishna" first of all asks one to do his DUTY. If a person does his/her duty then half of the problems of that person are solved. Not doing one's duty is very harmful as it produces negative results only in one's life, like frustration, depression, de-motivation etc. If one does at least his/her duty, then such negative factors affect that person to a lesser degree or do not affect at all. As per "Lord Sri Krishna", doing one’s prescribed duties, even though faultily is better to have a better Mental Health.

"sreyan sva-dharmo vigunah
para-dharmat sv-anusthitat
sva-dharme nidhanam sreyah
para-dharmo bhayavahah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Three verse 35)

"Lord Sri Krishna said: It is far better to discharge one’s prescribed duties, even though faultily, than another’s duties perfectly. Destruction in the course of performing one’s own duty is better than engaging in another’s duties, for to follow another’s path is dangerous."

Another teaching of "Bhagwat Gita" is to do one's work for the sake of work only without caring for the fruit arising out of that work. That simply means to get deeply involved in one's work or to just think single mindedly about performing the best in one's job without thinking about the results arising out of those actions performed while doing one's work or duty. Just concentrate on your work, that's it. Below verse of "Bhagwat Gita" explains this.

"karmany evadhikaras te
ma phalesu kadachana
ma karma-phala-hetur bhur
ma te sango ’stv akarmani" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Two verse 47)

"Lord Sri Krishna said: You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty."

Another below verse of "Bhagwat Gita" explains that one should do one's duty equi-poised or to have the equanimity of mind, without caring & renouncing all attachment to success or failure. If one does one's duty efficiently & with single minded devotion, without any fear of success or failure in his/her Endeavour, then certainly that person shall succeed in his/her work, as he/she is doing that work without any fear of success or failure. His/her mind shall be at peace & ease while doing such work without any fear of success or failure. Any person whose mind is at peace, certainly works effectively.

"yoga-sthah kuru karmani
sangam tyaktva dhananjaya
siddhy-asiddhyoh samo bhutva
samatvam yoga ucyate" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Two verse 48)

"Lord Sri Krishna said: Perform your duty equi-poised, O Arjuna, abandoning all attachment to success or failure. Such equanimity is called yoga."

So if a person is dedicated to his work & works for the sake of work only without any fear of success or failure, then that person is going to be certainly successful in his/her carrier. By doing meditation & other yoga techniques, one can control one's mind & a disciplined mind can be made to concentrate on one's job better, producing better results. So by following the teachings of "Bhagwat Gita" one is certainly going to excel in his/her job & in life.

Jai Shri Krishna

Om Tat Sat

"Om Tat Sat" are three mystical words which are uttered many times during Hindu religious practices. These are considered very holy & auspicious words. What is the meaning of "Om Tat Sat"? What does these three words mean?

In literal sense:

"Om" is the Sound symbol of God. If you want to express God in the form of sound, you should utter this mystical sound "Om". In Bhagwat Gita also God says that:

"maharsinam bhrgur aham
giram asmy ekam aksharam
yajnanam japa-yajno ’smi
sthavaranam himalayah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Ten verse 25)

"Sri Krishna said: Of the great sages I am Bhrgu; Of vibrations / sounds I am the transcendental Om. Of sacrifices I am the chanting of the holy names [japa], and of immovable things I am the Himalayas."

"Tat" means ‘that’; it also refers to God only.

"Sat" means ‘truth’ & God is truth which is everlasting and unchanging.

So "Om Tat Sat" means; what is everlasting and unchanging is God, whose infinite Existence - Consciousness Bliss is denoted by Om. Within Om is everything. Om contains all. Om is all. Om is present everywhere, like light.

As per the Bible which refers to "Om" as "Word":

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." which is simply that "In the beginning was the Om, and the Om was with God, and the Om was God."

So If anyone knows the meaning of the above saying, they need not go anywhere. They know everything.

In Christianity also three words are referred & those three words are "Father, Son, Holy Ghost". These three words of Christianity corresponds to the above said three words only "Sat, Tat, Om". "Father" corresponds to "Sat". "Son", corresponds to "Tat" & "Holy Ghost" corresponds to "Om". These three fold nature of God in Hinduism & Christianity is beautifully related in his book "Autobiography of a Yogi" by great saint Paramhansa Yogananda. As per him:

"Sat" or "Father" aspect of God is one who lives beyond this vibratory creation of ours.

"Tat" or "Son or Christ Consciousness" aspect of God is one who lives within this vibratory creation of ours & is present everywhere within this space or vibratory creation & is called omnipresent God.

"Om" or "Holy Ghost" aspect of God is one who is witness of this "Tat" or "Son or Christ Consciousness" aspect of God.

As per "Paramhansa Yogananda":

The outward manifestation of the omnipresent Christ Consciousness (Tat aspect of God), "It's Witness", is Om, the Word or Holy Ghost. This Om is the invisible divine power, the only doer, the sole causative & activating force that upholds all creation through vibration. Om, the Word is the creative vibration that externalizes all creation.

Brahma - Vishnu - Shiva represents the triune expression of God in the aspect of "Tat or Son", the Christ Consciousness immanent in vibratory creation. The Shaktis, Energies or the "Consorts" of the "Trinity" are symbols of "Om" or the "Holy Ghost" the sole causative force that upholds the Cosmos through vibration.

Below are some verses from Bhagwat Gita also which illustrates the "Om Tat Sat":

"om tat sat iti nirdeso
brahmanas tri-vidhah smrtah
brahmanas tena vedas cha
yajnas cha vihitah pura" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Seventeen verse 23)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, From the beginning of creation, the three words "Om Tat Sat" were used to indicate the Absolute Truth. These three symbolic representations were used by Brahmins while chanting the hymns of the Vedas and during sacrifices for the satisfaction of the God."

"tasmad om ity udahrtya
yajna-dana-tapah-kriyah
pravartante vidhanoktah
satatam brahma-vadinam" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Seventeen verse 24)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, Therefore, transcendentalists undertaking performances of sacrifice, charity and penance in accordance with scriptural regulations begin always with Om, to attain the God."

"tad ity anabhisandhaya
phalam yajna-tapah-kriyah
dana-kriyas cha vividhah
kriyante moksha-kanksibhih" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Seventeen verse 25)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, Without desiring fruit producing results, one should perform various kinds of sacrifice, penance and charity with the word Tat. The purpose of such transcendental activities is to get free from material entanglement."

"sad-bhave sadhu-bhave cha
sad ity etat prayujyate
prasaste karmani tatha
sac-chabdah partha yujyate"

"yajne tapasi dane cha
sthitih sad iti cocyate
karma chaiva tad-arthiyam
sad ity evabhidhiyate" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Seventeen verse 26-27)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, The Absolute Truth is the objective of devotional sacrifice, and it is indicated by the word Sat. The performer of such sacrifice is also called Sat, as are all works of sacrifice, penance and charity which, true to the absolute nature, are performed to please the God."

"Hear Me Lord" by "Beatles"

"Hear Me Lord" is a beautiful song sung in the praise of Lord by "Beatles".
The great "George Harrison" has shown great devotion to the Lord in this song. He has just gone beyond all religions by singing for the Universal God.

Hare Rama Hare Krishna.

Here below are lyrics of this song also.

Lyrics: "Hear me Lord" by "George Harrison"

Forgive me Lord
Please, those years when
I ignored you, hmm
Forgive them Lord
Those that feel they
can't afford you, hmm

Help me Lord, please
To rise above this dealing, hmm
Help me Lord, please
To love you with more feeling, hmm

At both ends of the road
To the left and the right
Above and below us
Out and in, there's no place
that you're not in
Oh, won't you hear me Lord

(Hear me Lord)
(Hear me Lord)
(Hear me Lord)
(Hear me Lord)

At both ends of the road
To the left and the right
Above and below us
Out and in, there's no place
that you're not in
Oh, won't you hear me Lord

Help me Lord, please
To rise a little higher, hmm
Help me Lord, please
To burn out this desire, hmm

Hear me Lord, please
Hear me Lord, please

Oh, won't you please, please
Hear me Lord
Oh, hear me Lord
Hear me Lord

Oh, won't you please, please
Hear me Lord
My Lord, my Lord, my Lord
(Hear me Lord)

Now, won't you please
(hear me Lord)
My Lord, my Lord, my Lord
Won't you please (Hear me Lord)
Oh, hear me Lord, hear me Lord
(Hear me Lord)

Dil Se Bole Jo Shriram, Bante Uske Bigde Kaam - Music Video

"Dil Se Bole Jo Shriram, Bante Uske Bigde Kaam" is a beautiful bhajang sung by Anuradha Paudwal. One of the best bhajan sung by Anuradha Paudwal.

What is Ego?

Ego is nothing but identification of oneself with their body than soul.

The Supreme God, The Supreme Spirit, The Supreme Consciousness by His Supreme Power of "Maya" has created these innumerable forms. All these forms appear in "Time and Space" as real but these forms are only real in the realm of "Maya" which is the illusive energy of God. These different created beings which embody a "Body", perceive themselves to be a single individual entity different from other beings, though only one universal soul pervades within them. One feels oneself different than others, one feels one's different identity only through the Ego which is a component of Nature (Maya).

In this time and space creation of God, it is the consciousness of ego only, what has made a human being to forget this supreme knowledge of Universal all pervasive Soul. Under the influence of ego only a human being forgets the truth about God & thinks his/her identity to be different than others & supreme. Ego has come into being only through God only to produce delusion in this universe. Once a person knows to have this knowledge of God, this delusion of "Maya" disappears & that person becomes one with God again.

Here below are verses from "Bhagwat Gita" which describe about the nature of this "Maya", nature of this Ego & how it is the power / illusive energy of God only which deludes human beings & puts a veil of ignorance on human mind. This veil of ignorance just disappears from the human mind once he / she starts having faith in God & have devotion in that Almighty. God himself in below verses is declaring that one who is engaged in pure devotional service goes beyond this illusion of "Maya" / "Ego" easily & attains to God in no time.

"bhumir apo ’nalo vayuh
kham mano buddhir eva cha
ahankara itiyam me
bhinna prakritir astadha" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Seven verse 4)

"Sri Krishna said: Earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intelligence and false ego—all together these eight constitute My material nature / energy eightfold divided. This is my lower (insentient) nature."

"apareyam itas tv anyam
prakritim viddhi me param
jiva-bhutam maha-baho
yayedam dharyate jagat" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Seven verse 5)

"Sri Krishna said: Besides these, O Arjuna, there is another, superior energy of Mine, which comprises the living entities who are exploiting the resources of this material, lower (insentient) nature."

"etad-yonini bhutani
sarvanity upadharaya
aham krtsnasya jagatah
prabhavah pralayas tatha" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Seven verse 6)

"Sri Krishna said: All created beings have their source in these two natures. Of all that is material and all that is spiritual in this world, know for certain that I am both the origin and the dissolution."

"mattah parataram nanyat
kincid asti dhananjaya
mayi sarvam idam protam
sutre mani-gana iva" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Seven verse 7)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, there is no truth superior to Me. Everything rests upon Me, as pearls are strung on a thread."

"daivi hy esa guna-mayi
mama maya duratyaya
mam eva ye prapadyante
mayam etam taranti te" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Seven verse 14)

"Sri Krishna said: This divine energy of Mine, consisting of the three modes of material nature (Maya), is difficult to overcome. But those who have surrendered unto Me can easily cross beyond it."

"na mam duskritino mudhah
prapadyante naradhamah
mayayapahrta-jnana
asuram bhavam asritah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Seven verse 15)

"Sri Krishna said: Those miscreants who are grossly foolish, who are lowest among mankind, whose knowledge is stolen by illusion, and who partake of the atheistic nature of demons do not surrender unto Me."

"tesam jnani nitya-yukta
eka-bhaktir visisyate
priyo hi jnanino ’tyartham
aham sa cha mama priyah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Seven verse 17)

"Sri Krishna said: Of these, the one who is in full knowledge and who is always engaged in pure devotional service of God is the best. For I am very dear to him, and he is dear to Me."

"udarah sarva evaite
jnani tv atmaiva me matam
asthitah sa hi yuktatma
mam evanuttamam gatim" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Seven verse 18)

"Sri Krishna said: All these devotees are undoubtedly magnanimous souls, but he who is situated in knowledge of Me, I consider to be just like My own self. Being engaged in My transcendental service, he is sure to attain Me, the highest and most perfect goal."

How to feel God around you?

God is truth. Most of us believe in Him & have faith in Him. But how many of us have felt His presence around us? Is there any way to feel Him around us?

Yes, there is a simple way to feel His presence around us. For that just be alone in any place, in your room, home etc. Be sure that you are absolutely alone & no second person is there in that place with you. Now in that lonely place just sit comfortably, be silent without any sound around you. Now Just close your eyes & think about the universal consciousness. Just think that there is someone within you which is centre in your heart & is emanating in all directions in this universe from your heart. That omnipresent universal soul / consciousness has it's centre in your heart & is radiating in all this universe around you.

Now thinking about the universal consciousness in this way, just be silent for some time while closing your eyes & concentrate on the inner centre of your forehead. Practicing this way is only called meditating on the invisible energy present within this space. More & more practice of meditating in this way daily on this invisible energy present within this space shall give you peace of mind. Doing such meditation daily, you shall lose your ego / identity & only feel that omnipresent universal soul / consciousness around you. Once you feel that omnipresent universal soul / consciousness around you then that is the first perception of God. Doing daily mediation on that omnipresent universal consciousness, you shall be able to be one with that universal consciousness.

Below are some verses from Bhagwat Gita which illustrates the same:

"yogi yunjita satatam
atmanam rahasi sthitah
ekaki yata-cittatma
nirasir aparigrahah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Six verse 10)

"Sri Krishna said: A transcendentalist should always engage his body, mind and self in relationship with the God; he should live alone in a secluded place and should always carefully control his mind. He should be free from desires and feelings of possessiveness."

"suchau dese pratishthapya
sthiram asanam atmanah

"tatraikagram manah kritva
yata-cittendriya-kriyah
upavisyasane yunjyad
yogam atma-vishuddhaye" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Six verse 11-12)

"Sri Krishna said: To practice yoga, one should go to a secluded place and should lay kusha grass on the ground and then cover it with a deerskin and a soft cloth. The seat should be neither too high nor too low and should be situated in a sacred place. The yogi should then sit on it very firmly and practice yoga to purify the heart by controlling his mind, senses and activities and fixing the mind on one point."

"samam kaya-siro-grivam
dharayann achalam sthirah
sampreksya nasikagram svam
disas chanavalokayan"

"prashantatma vigata-bhir
brahmachari-vrate sthitah
manah samyamya mac-citto
yukta asita mat-parah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Six verse 13-14)

"Sri Krishna said: One should hold one’s body, neck and head erect in a straight line and stare steadily at the tip of the nose. Thus, with an un-agitated, subdued mind, devoid of fear, one should meditate upon Me within the heart and make Me the ultimate goal of life."

"yunjann evam sadatmanam
yogi niyata-manasah
shantim nirvana-paramam
mat-samstham adhigacchati" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Six verse 15)

"Sri Krishna said: Thus practicing constant control of the body, mind and activities, the mystic transcendentalist, his mind regulated, attains to the kingdom of God."

God is in all Beings

One who is there in Space,

One who is there in Sun,

One who is there in Fire,

One who is there in Earth,

One who is there in Moon,

One who is there in Water,

One who is there in Your Heart,

One who is there in My Heart,

He is One, He is "Brahmn", He is God.

What is Mind?

Infinite Universal Consciousness is also called "Brahmn". In this Infinite Universal Consciousness this entire universe is pervaded. When a Spark of this Universal Consciousness is conditioned by and undergoes modification by mixing with Nature Elements or with the external body, then this conditioned Consciousness is called MIND. In such a situation Consciousness forgets it's true nature that it's a part of & of the nature of that Infinite Universal Consciousness. Such a conditioned consciousness is also called Jiva.

This Jiva / Mind after forgetting it's true nature (being part of & of the nature of that Infinite Universal Consciousness), inherits a body & makes appearance in this world. Such a conditioned soul / Jiva takes birth in different bodies & moves from one body to other body after death. Such a journey of soul / Jiva goes forever until it sees the truth again.

But Infinite Universal Consciousness, called "Brahmn" is independent of all these & pervades this whole universe, beyond this Jiva & beyond this body.

It is due to our Ignorance only (after forgetting the Infinite Universal Consciousness called "Brahmn") that this universe exists. Once we know ourselves to be a part & parcel of that Infinite Universal Consciousness, then this illusion of universe disappears & you become one with the "Brahmn".

Below are some verses from Bhagwat Gita which illustrates the same:

"mamaivamso jiva-loke
jiva-bhutah sanatanah
manah-sasthanindriyani
prakriti-sthani karshati" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Fifteen verse 7)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind."

"sariram yad avapnoti
yac chapy utkramatishvarah
grhitvaitani samyati
vayur gandhan ivasayat" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Fifteen verse 8)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, The living entity in the material world carries his different conceptions of life from one body to another as the air carries aromas. Thus he takes one kind of body and again quits it to take another."

"srotram chaksuh sparshanam cha
rasanam ghranam eva cha
adhisthaya manas chayam
visayan upasevate" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Fifteen verse 9)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, The living entity, thus taking another gross body, obtains a certain type of ear, eye, tongue, nose and sense of touch, which are grouped about the mind. He thus enjoys a particular set of sense objects."

"utkramantam sthitam vapi
bhunjanam va gunanvitam
vimudha nanupasyanti
pasyanti jnana-chaksusah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Fifteen verse 10)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, The foolish cannot understand how a living entity can quit his body, nor can they understand what sort of body he enjoys under the spell of the modes of nature. But one whose eyes are trained in knowledge can see all this."

"yatanto yoginas chainam
pasyanty atmany avasthitam
yatanto ’py akritatmano
nainam pasyanty acetasah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Fifteen verse 11)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, The endeavoring transcendentalists, who are situated in self-realization, can see all this clearly. But those whose minds are not developed and who are not situated in self-realization cannot see what is taking place, though they may try to."

"sarvasya chaham hridi sannivisto
mattah smritir jnanam apohanam cha
vedais cha sarvair aham eva vedyo
vedanta-krd veda-vid eva chaham" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Fifteen verse 15)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, I am seated in everyone’s heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness. By all the Vedas, I am to be known. Indeed, I am the compiler of Vedanta, and I am the knower of the Vedas."

"dvav imau purushau loke
ksharas chakshara eva cha
ksharah sarvani bhutani
kuta-stho ’kshara uchyate" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Fifteen verse 16)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, There are two classes of beings, the fallible and the infallible. In the material world every living entity is fallible, and in the spiritual world every living entity is called infallible."

"uttamah purushas tv anyah
paramatmety udahrtah
yo loka-trayam avisya
bibharty avyaya ishvarah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Fifteen verse 17)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, Besides these two, there is the greatest living personality, the God Soul, the imperishable Lord Himself, who has entered the three worlds and is maintaining them."
